I grew up in Spanish Fort and currently live in Fairhope with my wife, Meri Blake, and our dog, Remi. I attended both Spanish Fort High School and Bayside Academy before receiving my undergraduate degree in History from Auburn University. I then went to Ole Miss for law school, graduating in 2020.

After law school, I worked as an anti-money laundering investigator for USAA in San Antonio, Texas and Charlotte, North Carolina, an experience that continues to play a role in my practice. I have found that tracing money laundering is not all that different from tracing assets that spouses often attempt to hide or misrepresent in divorce cases.

In 2023, I returned home to Baldwin County to be closer to family. Since then, I have practiced throughout Lower Alabama, representing clients in family law, criminal defense, landlord-tenant disputes, debt defense, general civil litigation, and appellate matters.

I have handled multiple cases before the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals, including a petition for a writ of mandamus that resulted in the reversal of the trial court’s order which ultimately led to a favorable divorce decree for my client. I have also successfully defended appeals challenging awards of sole physical custody to my clients as well as the granting of a divorce on the grounds of cruelty (a rare ground that has only been affirmed on appeal a handful of times in Alabama).
